Arsenal naïve at set-pieces says Wenger

Following Sunday's 3-1 loss to Stoke City at Britannia Stadium, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted his side were again 'naïve' at set pieces.

The Gunners conceded the first goal to the Potters when Kenwyne Jones easily headed the ball home from a Jermaine Pennant cross in the 28th minute and Wenger feels that this is an issue which has plagued the team all season.

"On set-pieces we have been caught and Jones didn't even have to jump to head the ball - that is something to correct," he said.

"It is the easiest thing to correct in the game, but you still must understand the flight of the ball and want to be first and have some experience.

"I feel sometimes we are a bit naive."
