Arsenal must sell to make room for Montpellier's Giroud

Any Arsenal move for Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud is likely to depend on finding buyers for their fringe players.

The Telegraph says Giroud, who is the top scorer in the French league, is being tracked by Arsenal.

Much will depend, however, on whether existing Arsenal players are sold, with Nicklas Bendtner due back from his loan spell at Sunderland this summer and both Marouane Chamakh and Ju-Young Park having featured so rarely this season.
