Arsenal are lining up a bid for Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The People says the France midfielder has snubbed a new contract for next summer and Arsenal could land him for around £8million in January. Arsene Wenger has been keen to add bite to his midfield since selling Alex Song and 23-year-old Sissoko is at the top of his list.

Newcastle are also in the running - but Sissoko wants Champions League football.
