Arsenal are helping Bolton Wanderers balance their books by bringing forward payments for Rob Holding.
The Gunners signed Holding, 22, in July last year for £2.5million and he has started ten games this season.
The Sun says the deal to buy Holding included extras and instalments, but Arsenal have been paying sooner than originally planned.
Chairman Ken Anderson has ended talks with likely buyers of cash-strapped Bolton.
He claimed that most did not come up with the cash, despite revealing recently that talks were ongoing with two 'credible' options in the Far East and Eastern Europe.
