Arsenal move back on for Saint-Etienne’s Matuidi
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly making another play for Saint-Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
With the likelihood of Cesc Fabregas being out for up to three weeks, Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield and Matuidi fits the bill.
The French club, led by sporting director Damien Comolli, has stated all summer that Matuidi is not for sale but it is believed Wenger is poised to make a £5million bid for the transfer window closes.

Tan God say tis tin happen to Cesc b/4 d transfer market close. Prof. AW buy him.
He is much needed backup for the DM position ie for Song - not for Cesc! Cesc is playing CM (where Ramsey,Denilson,Diaby,Nasri, Merida and Rosicky will fight it out for the other CM position and to be backups). We are looking very good but will - but we need to strenghten squad! please buy a DM!
this guy is more like a backup for song in the defensive mid position. we have plenty of backups for cesc - ie. rosicky, nasri, denilson to name a few
