Arsenal's reported move for Everton's Mikel Arteta is now off according to Sky Sports. Initial reports indicated that the Gunners offered striker Nicklas Bendtner plus cash for the Spaniard but the Toffees are not interested in the Danish striker.
Arsenal were set to return with a cash-only bid for Arteta but more recent reports indicate that the deal is now off and that the Gunners will focus on Chelsea's Yossi Benayoun.
