Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is delighted Thomas Vermaelen has signed a new contract.
Vermaelen inked his new deal yesterday.
Wilshere tweeted: "Great news that thomas has signed a new long term contract! best news i have had all day!
"Well done mate now you can buy a new car haha"
