Arsenal midfielder Wilshere explains why him and Giroud link up so well

Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud were at it again for Arsenal against Red Star Belgrade.

The duo combined for one of the greatest Arsenal goal's ever with their tiki-taka combination play against Norwich in 2013.

And on Thursday night it was the same story as the two, along with Theo Walcott, combined for another stunning goal.

Speaking after the match, Wilshere explained why him and Giroud link up perfectly.

"I think he knows how I like to play and I know how he likes to play," said the 25-year-old.

"He knows that I like to pick it up and drive at the defence and he always gives me an option when I pick the ball up he seems to hold position up well, he's strong when he holds the ball up and we play off each other well.

"We did that again tonight with Theo and we're happy, we came here we know the fans came a long way so we're thankful to them and we wanted to give them something to cheer about after the weekend and we did so we're happy."
