Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been assured of his place in England's World Cup squad.
The Mail on Sunday says Wilshere has been told that, providing he can get a few games under his belt and prove his fitness, he will be going to the World Cup.
The England camp have kept close tabs on Wilshere's recovery since he suffered a hairline fracture of a bone in his left foot in last month's international friendly win against Denmark.
Wilshere is due to step up his recovery next week when he starts full running again.
