Arsenal midfielder Alex Song is delighted with his progress this season.

Song missed three of Arsenal's first four Premier League fixtures this season through suspension but he has been a virtual ever-present since then and he's satisfied with his form so far.

"I'm very happy, although you always want to do more," he told the Official Arsenal Matchday Programme. "Last season I scored five goals and this time I'd like to score eight or ten - it would show that I'm improving a lot in that area.

"If you want to be a top player you need to keep pushing on, to keep improving every time. Under one of the best managers of the world I have that opportunity and I'm always trying to take it."
