Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey admits the players are desperate to win the Europa League for manager Arsene Wenger.

While there has been constant pressure on Wenger to leave this season, Ramsey says the changing room didn't think it would happen so soon.

“We all knew he would step down one day," Ramsey told Sky Sports. “That day has come and it was a massive shock.

“But we have to put them emotions behind us while using them to finish the season strongly.

“Hopefully we can lift something for him and then let the other emotions come in after that when the season has finished."
