Arsenal midfielder Ramsey: Wales have made history

Wales have qualified for Euro 2016, despite defeat to Bosnia.

Chris Coleman's side did it the hard way in losing 2-0 to Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica, Milan Djuric and Vedad Ibisevic netting second-half goals as Wales slipped to a first defeat of their Group B campaign.

But Cyprus' 2-1 win in Israel stamped their passport to France and Wales will take their place at a major tournament for the first time since the likes of John Charles and Ivor Allchurch were gracing the 1958 World Cup.

"What a great moment for Welsh football. For me personally, and for all the players, what an achievement to make history and we're finally going to a major tournament," Wales' Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey told Sky Sports News.

"It's not going to sink in for a while but I'm just so proud personally, for all my teammates and for everyone associated with this country. We're finally going.

"This has been a dream of mine, to try and get Wales to a major finals, and we're finally doing it. To fulfil that dream, we're only a small nation, I'm over the moon. To all the supporters and everybody who backed us, we're finally there."
