Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has named former Cardiff City captain Graham Kavanagh his football idol.

Kavanagh, who also lists Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and Sunderland among his old sides, is now manager of League One strugglers Carlisle United.

Ramsey said: "He was the Cardiff captain and played in my position, so that's who I looked up to and wanted to aspire to be like."
