Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey feels he proved a lot of critics wrong last season.

The Wales international caught the eye in the second-half of the campaign.

Ramsey said: "I think I was very happy with my form at the end of the season. I was playing in central midfield, that's my favourite position and I still think there's more to come from me and I was pleased with the way I played and my contribution to the team.

"I think I proved a lot of people wrong, showed exactly what I can do and there's a lot more to come from me. But scoring goals is one thing I need to improve on and hopefully I can do that this season."
