Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey would love to crown his comeback with a Carling Cup winner's medal this year.
It was last February when he suffered a horrific double leg-break after a tackle from Stoke's Ryan Shawcross at the Britannia Stadium.
Ramsey remembers the agony of climbing the Wembley steps a loser after Cardiff's FA Cup final defeat to Portsmouth in 2008.
So he is desperate to return there as a winner in the Carling Cup this season as Arsenal bid to end their six-year trophy drought.
Ramsey said: "It was gutting. It was like being winded when the final whistle went. You feel so down, as if you have missed your chance.
"But I remember the Cardiff boss Dave Jones telling me as we left not to worry, that I'd get plenty more opportunities in my career.
"Hopefully that will happen and I can be a winner next time. I can put it all behind me if I get a winners' medal at Wembley this season.
"I've still got my losers' medal from the FA Cup final - but it's kept in a draw at my house.
"To get to another final would be brilliant. It would be good to do that and win some silverware for the first time in a while.
"I played against Ipswich a few weeks ago, so hopefully I will play some part in the game and get some more minutes under my belt."
