Arsenal midfielder Ramsey determined not to look back

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey says he is now only thinking of the future after fully recovering from his broken leg injury.

Ramsey, who built up his fitness with loans at Nottingham Forest and Cardiff before returning to the Arsenal side this month, was reluctant to talk about the Ryan Shawcross incident when meeting the media in Cardiff.

"I have told everyone what I think about it," said Ramsey when asked about the fateful Shawcross challenge.

"It was a reckless tackle and that's all I want to say about it.

"It is just great to be back in the set-up again, I've been out for such a long time.

"Hopefully I can just get back on track and put in a good performance and help Wales get a good result at the weekend.

"It is a massive game. Hopefully everyone can get behind us.

"We have said that for a long time now that we have potential.

"Obviously we still haven't qualified for anything but Gary Speed has come in and there have been a lot of changes.

"He's telling us what sort of things we are going to do, how we are going to go about things and everyone seems optimistic that we are on the right track and we are going to do something special with this team."
