Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is prepared to sign a new contract with the Gunners, according to The Sun.

The deal will be worth £280,000-per-week for the German international.

Recent reports have suggested that the 28-year old was holding out for £350,000-per-week wages.

With no interest being shown from any big European clubs, it is understood that Ozil will now accept Arsenal's original contract offer.
