Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is full of praise for former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel has been linked with the Arsenal job with Arsene Wenger to step down this week, though PSG are favourites to name him new coach.

Mkhitaryan told FourFourTwo of the German: "When Thomas Tuchel arrived, he gave me the same confidence I had in the beginning with (Jurgen) Klopp.

"I was very happy that he could convince me to believe in me and give me the strength I have now. That's how I stepped up in my career as a footballer and I'm very grateful."
