Mathieu Flamini is upset for Arsenal teammate Mathieu Debuchy over his ankle injury.
The fullback faces three months on the sidelines.
"I'm just very sad for Mathieu Debuchy," Flamini told arsenal.com. "We don't know what he has but it looks serious. [It's] very unfortunate for him and we wanted to win the game especially for him. We didn't so now we have to recover.
"We're disappointed because I believe we had the possibility to win this game. Unfortunately we didn't but it's part of the game. I think everyone enjoyed the game. [It was played with a ] very high intensity and we gave everything against a very good team today on the pitch, but that's the Premier League.
"Of course it's very important we didn't lose this game but like I said we had the possibility to win it. Unfortunately we didn't and we're just a bit disappointed because we have a lot of quality in our team. We have more maturity and this team is growing well, and I'm very proud of the boys. We gave everything again today and were great."
