Francis Coquelin has confirmed he's been training as a centre-half with Arsenal.
It comes after the news that Per Mertesacker is facing five months out with a knee injury.
The Frenchman revealed his new position on Arsenal's Snapchat, reports the Daily Star.
Asked what he had been doing, Coquelin replied: "I've been playing centre back and I've been bossing it, you know."
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is looking for another defender as cover for Mertesacker's injury.
