Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta admits Everton were impressive for their 1-1 draw.
Arteta believes it was a fair result against his former club.
"In terms of chances I think we had the better chances," Arteta told arsenal.com. "But the draw is the fair result for both teams.
"I think in the second half we were on top of the game but credit to Everton, they have been the best side we have played this season in the Premier League.
"They [Everton] have been playing really well and they have always trying to produce a good mix of players with quality, intensity and speed.
"They are hard to deal with and they made it really hard for us."
