Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta hailed the passion of the home support after victory over West Bromwich Albion.
Arteta was delighted to get back on track, and says the support within Emirates Stadium was absolutely crucial to their success.
"It was a very good game, the tempo was really high and the crowd created an unbelievable atmosphere," he told Arsenal Player.
"What they showed towards the team was a really big lift for us because we didn't know how upset they would be after last week [against Swansea].
"We have to thank them for an unbelievable effort, and we got a good three points. There was some pressure because we are not in the position we want to be at the moment.
"We want to be very consistent at home, and we haven't been this season, so this was a massive game for us."
