Liverpool have received a boost in their pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Daily Mail says he is due to discuss an extension after tomorrow's FA Cup final.

But if those talks don't go well, they suggest the England international could be on his way to Anfield.

The Reds are said to be showing “serious interest" in securing Oxlade-Chamberlain's services this summer.

And with Champions League football secured - at the expense of Arsenal - a deal for Oxlade-Chamberlain is gathering momentum.
