Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere was delighted with victory over Crystal Palace.

Wilshere hailed the performance of Mesut Ozil for the 4-1 win.

He said, "We needed that performance. We haven't been good enough recently, we've dropped points and we knew that Palace were on a great run. They haven't lost in a while and the only team to beat them in a while was us, so we knew we could do it. We had to start the game quickly and we did that, so I'm happy."

On Ozil he added: "I've said before that he understands football so well, and that's what makes him one of the best. He knows when to play it to you, what side to pass to, and everything he does is quality. He makes it easy. I really enjoyed that little spell in the first half."
