Ron Vlaar says he's happy at Aston Villa.

Vlaar has revealed that he is happy despite failing to secure a transfer to Arsenal or Manchester United this summer.

"I don't feel disappointed", Vlaar told Helden Online after being asked about sticking with the Villans.

"I have always maintained that I am enjoying myself at Villa and that is still true.

"I just want to keep giving my best here."
