Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk says he wants a move away from Parkhead.
Van Dijk has been one of the finest defenders in the Scottish Premiership over the past few seasons and as a result, he has been constantly linked with clubs in the Premier League such as Arsenal and Manchester United.
Ahead of the upcoming transfer window, van Dijk has finally been touted to move to a bigger club across the border and the Dutchman himself has implored Celtic to allow him to leave this summer.
"They must understand that, as a footballer, sometimes it's time to make a move," Van Dijk told Dutch magazine Voetbal.
"Of course, the Champions League millions are important for Celtic, but they cannot dismiss any interest. If the correct amount is placed on the table, then they will really think about it.
"If Celtic want to earn money from me, the club must act now. There has been interest every summer and winter, especially from the Premier League, but Celtic decided not to sell me at that time. I was disappointed."
