Arsenal, Man Utd target Begovic calm on Stoke future

Asmir Begovic says he is planning to be back at Stoke City after this summer's World Cup.

The 26-year old goalkeeper, who will represent Bosnia & Herzegovina at Brazil, continues to be linked with a summer departure from the Britannia Stadium.

Begovic has been previously admired by Arsenal and Manchester United but insists he is only thinking about heading back to Staffordshire after he completes his national team duties at the 2014 World Cup which kicks off on June 12.

"My plan is to be back here and be part of the club when we come back for pre-season," he said on talkSPORT.

"I like the way that the club is moving forward and the direction it is moving in. I feel comfortable here.

"I like my teammates, the coaches and everyone, so as far as I am concerned this is where I am going to be.

"Obviously, once the last game is out of the way on Sunday my full attention will be turning to the national team and the summer and we will see what happens after that.

"In football you just don't know what is around the corner.

"It is a business and I understand that side of things, but I am still committed to the club.

"I have two years left on my contract and this is where I see myself next season."
