Celtic starlet Kieran Tierney is being watched by Manchester City and Arsenal scouts.

The Sun says Pep Guardiola has stepped-up his pursuit of the promising left-back following his recent performance in Celtic's 3-3 draw with the Citizens last month.

It was the youngster's surging run and cross which resulted in the Brendan Rodgers side's second goal.

An Etihad source said: “Pep was impressed by Tierney's non-stop running and refusal to hide on the night.

“City have built close links with Celtic in recent years with Patrick Roberts currently on loan there this season.

“Scouts have been watching him all season and last. The longer Celtic stay in the Champions League, the better."

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has also been watching Tierney for around 18-months and could make a move at the end of the season.
