Arsenal are eyeing West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.

The Gunners, along with Manchester City, made it clear to West Ham back in January that they were interested in the player.

The Mirror says should West Ham fail to make it into next season's Europa League then they could be forced to sell their star centre-back. Upson, 29, joined Arsenal in 1997 from Luton for £2million.
