David Villa has pleaded with Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova to let him leave this month.Sport says the Spain striker has held talks with Vilanova about his situation and his wish to quit Barca before the winter market shuts.
Villa informed Vilanova he was struggling, mentally, with the lack of action he was seeing and believed the best option would be to accept one of the offers he has from England.
Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham are all keen to bring the World Cup winner to the Premier League in the next fortnight.
For the moment, Vilanova is mulling over Villa's request.
