Arsenal, Man City edging closer to Porto striker Hulk
Arsenal and Manchester City are being linked with Porto star Hulk.
The 22-year-old is attracting interest having impressed in the Portuguese Liga and Champions League last season.
And Hulk's representative claims an offer has been tabled, reportedly from an English side, with Arsenal and Manchester City said to hold an interest.
Teodoro Fonseca said: "Porto have rejected an offer for Hulk and will only consider a bid of at least €40million (£34m).
"Big clubs from Europe are interested in Hulk, but he is very content in Portugal.
"I do not believe it will be likely that Porto will accept a sale this summer."

Hes a very good all round player for me, not fantastic, but is strong, quick, good eye for goal, box to box player. Hes worth £15 mil of anyones money, but £34 mil is way off the mark, even in today's fluctuating transfer market. Given that Hargreaves looks unlikely to feature again for sometime, Man Utd should look at signing him and playing him as a holding midfielder to support the back four, a position that was being cryed out for all last season!
Holy frick, 40 million Euro???? I was very impressed with Hulk in the Champions' League, but let's not go totally insane with funny money!!! Only Man City could perhaps afford that for a player who is unproven and not a big star, but Man City want to buy stars and raise their profile.
I hope this is not true...he looks very average to me...famous just cos of his name....price quoted was eur40 hehe what a joke! I wld vale him at eur6.5m max!
