Barcelona have allowed Abel Ruiz to travel to India for the U17 World Cup without a contract upgrade.
The young attacker is regarded among Spain's best young players and has attracted major interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
AS says Ruiz's current deal carries a €3m buyout clause, so leaving Barca vulnerable to losing their young gem - especially if he shines in India.
Ruiz was the top scorer at the U17 Euros and has already trained with Gerard Lopez's B squad.
Barca GM Pep Segura has spoken of the importance of tying Ruiz to a new deal, but it's now emerged the teen is playing in India still on his original contract.
