Arsenal will make a £15 million bid for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye today.
The Daily Star Sunday says Emirates boss Arsene Wenger has told his recruitment staff that his priority is the signing of "a No.10" - a playmaker.
France international Cabaye, 27, fits the bill.
The Gunners have already failed with one bid for Cabaye but Wenger has cash burning a hole in his pocket ahead of tomorrow night's transfer deadline.
And it is believed that Cabaye still wants to quit Newcastle.
