Arsenal major shareholder Alisher Usmanov is considering buying into Belgian giants Anderlecht.
The Uzbek billionaire was linked with a takeover bid for Anderlecht last week.
And a spokesman for Usmanov's company USM Holdings refused to rule out an investment when addressing the reports on Saturday evening.
"Mr. Usmanov has received various proposals, including a suggestion regarding the acquisition of RSC Anderlecht, but no decision has been made," the spokesman confirmed.
Usmanov has held shares in Arsenal since 2007, but found himself blocked from wielding more influence by the current Stan Kroenke led board.
