Arsenal continue to be linked with Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Canales.
The Spain U21 star chose Real over Arsenal in January when he decided to leave Racing Santander last season.
The 19 year-old, however, has struggled to make an impression at Real this season and is being linked with the Gunners for the winter market.
Madrid sources say the stumbling block could be Real coach Jose Mourinho, who doesn't have the best relationship with his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger.
