Arsenal have lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for their Champions League clash with Schalke.

The England forward injured a hip just minutes after coming on during Saturday's shock 1-0 defeat at Norwich.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is said to have been in a lot of discomfort on Saturday night and the Arsenal medical team will wait for the injury to settle before assessing the extent of the problem today, says the Daily Mail.

But early indications are that Oxlade-Chamberlain, 19, will not be fit to face the German side on Wednesday and could even miss next Saturday's Barclays Premier League visit of Queens Park Rangers.
