Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere believes that the Gunners played one of their best halves of football as they raced to a 4-0 lead in the first half against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
The 23-year old was given his first start after suffering a serious injury in November and put in an impressive display which also included a stunning first-half volley.
"We've given the fans something to remember," the England midfielder said.
"The first half had some of the best performances we've played this season. Every time we went forward and got into the final third we looked dangerous.
"We could have been six or seven up. We were happy with the four and we maybe dropped off a little bit in the second half, but we're pleased with the first half and I'm happy with my goal."
