Antonio Candreva is on the verge of signing a new contract with Lazio according to reports.
The 27-year old Italian midfielder has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham in recent times but it appears as though he is set to commit to Le Aquile after first joining the club from Udinese in 2012.
It is believed that Candreva will receive improved terms at Lazio after stepping up following the departure of Brazil international Hernanes to Inter Milan in January this year.
The Daily Express is reporting that Candreva will pocket around £1.6million a year until 2019 although it may not stop interested English clubs from pursuing him in the winter transfer window.
