Arsenal and Liverpool are eyeing Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra.

The Sunday Mirror says Diarra has been offered a new three-year deal by the Blues but decided to reject the offer out of hand in favour of seeing out the remaining year of his contract.

Diarra's decision has alerted both Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea are likely to consider offers in the coming weeks to prevent the player cashing in on a Bosman free transfer.
