Premier League clubs are scrambling for Sporting CP's free transfer Gelson Martins.

The Telegraph says Arsenal will have to rival Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton for the signature of Gelson.

The Portugal international is one of seven stars to have ripped up their contracts at Sporting CP.

It has left the 23-year-old's future up in the air despite his huge talent - but that has only attracted the attention of a number of English clubs.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton are all keen.

Gelson has been allowed to terminate his contract after ultras attacked players at the club's training ground at the end of last season.
