Arsenal are being linked with a surprise move for Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches.
The Daily Star says the Gunners have joined Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus in the hunt for the Romanian defender.
Chiriches moved to Tottenham from Steaua Bucharest last summer but he failed to establish himself as a regular under Andre Villas Boas or Tim Sherwood.
Arsenal will seek to do business with Spurs over a £8.5 million deal for Chiriches.
Sol Campbell was the last player to make the move and he enjoyed a trophy laden spell with the club.
