Fulham defender Brede Hangeland has again been linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Norwegian international's agent Rune Hauge has admitted that a move to Emirates Stadium could still be on the cards in the next transfer window in January but it was Fulham's call.
"There was interest in Brede - but nothing concrete, so now is a good time to resume talks with Fulham," Hauge said.
"Brede always wanted to stay in London and - from Fulham's point of view - he also likes Roy Hodgson and feels loyal to him.
"We've discussed figures, but I presume Fulham are making an internal decision on that - although I can see no reason why something can't be agreed soon.
"The ball is in Fulham's court.
"They're keen to reward him because he's become a top player - and they should be prepared to pay a top player's money."
