Arsenal lining up offer for PSV midfield star Afellay
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering a move for PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Afellay.
The midfielder, 24, is in the final year of his contract with PSV.
And Arsene Wenger could tempt the Eredivisie giants to cash in now rather than risk losing him for nothing in 12 months.
PSV rate Afellay at £7million and his agent Rob Jansen admitted: "It's possible Ibrahim will want to stay at PSV but there is a chance of a move elsewhere.
"In football, you never know. There are teams interested in him for sure."

Afellay is a very good player. Let Fabregas join Barcelona, he wants to go and if it is not this year it will be next year.
Think this guy is a good replacement and there are other players also who can play very good at Arsenal. Wonder if Fabregas will be in the starting team of Barcelona, they have already good midfielders.
VanPersie and Afellay appear to have a good connection, both have told so. So maybe VanPersie is convincing Wenger to let the boy join. I tell you is way talented and he can grow out to be very good. He has shown some of his potential at the world cup. I'd rather have a player like affelay then an unmotivated Fabregas that wants to be somewhere else. Fabregas doesn't deserve Arsenal. He deserves to be arsefucked by Xabi and Iniesta. xD
