Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged Arsene Wenger to go for Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given.
Given and Fulham veteran Mark Schwarzer are being linked with the Gunners this week.
In his column for The Sun, Wright wrote: "The Gunners need someone right out of the top drawer - and that man has to be Given.
"I like Mark Schwarzer but Shay just has the edge. He has the experience of many years playing in front of big crowds with big expectations.
"He's also a bit younger than the Fulham man and for me would help Arsenal become serious challengers for the big prize."
