Arsenal legend Wright: Torres running out of excuses at Chelsea
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Sat, 02/04/2012 - 06:32
Arsenal legend Ian Wright says there can be no more excuses for Chelsea's goal shy striker Fernando Torres.
Wright believes the time for excuses is over.
The Arsenal legend told The Sun: "I haven't got a clue why it's not happening for him.
"It seems to me he is but for £50m you don't want someone to assist, you want someone to score.
"For me, maybe they should be channeling everything through him and making even more chances.
"But when you see him sometimes, it's not only that he's missing chances — he's missing chances he SHOULD score." "I don't know, is he not doing enough work on his game in respects of after training? Is he still getting himself in the right positions?

you should comment about your team players first....
''Ian S HITE S HITE'' if you don't have a clue then your not very knowledable are you. When you were at ARSEanal you were given a supply of chances you din't play out wide nor did you have to come deep for the ball. The simple fact is Ramires apart the midfield are not very creative or consistant. AVB had the whole of the summer to realise we lack pace and commitment from the wings which is why he insists on playing Sturridge out wide but he does not like crossing or passing. He has shown way too much trust in Malouda who is lazy uncommitted and does not go past people. His belief in Bosingwa getting forward is also a waste of time he also like Malouda looks to cut in. The lack of back up when Malouda plays for Cole has meant less moves forward by Cole. Malouda,Bosingwa are a waste of space as was Anelka that was even evident last year and all pre-season and he chose not to buy wide men with pace and ability to take on defenders so yes its AVBs fault and if Ian S HITE S HITE actually watched Chelsea instead of trying to sound clever he would see that. Drogba suffers from teh same lack of supply the difference is Drogba is more physical so canin certain circumstances carve out his own chances. You give a striker one or two attempts a game if he does not score his misses will be noticed even more. Lets sell Torres to Real and see if Jose and their wide men cannot get him scoring. AVB has had two transfer windows to resolve the issue of lack of pace and guile end of.
what about the no one AVB how many excuses does that chump get his whineing is starting to sound like the great whinger whenger himself
