Arsenal legend Ian Wright says Manchester City have to stick with manager Roberto Mancini.
Wright wrote in The Sun: "Roberto Mancini will be given the time he deserves to hunt down Manchester United at the top of the Premier League.
"More than ever before, managers at big clubs find themselves under intense pressure after a couple of poor results but Mancini will have been helped by the disgraceful way Roberto Di Matteo was treated by Chelsea.
"Roman Abramovich was rightly ridiculed for sacking the man who brought the Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge for the first time. The appointment of Rafa Benitez has caused a stink and even if City's board have thought about pressing the panic button, the outcry caused by Di Matteo's dismissal will have made them think again.
"Mancini, of course, must still win something this season. The names of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola keep cropping up. But the key is that Mancini will be given the chance to turn the situation around."
