Arsenal legend Ian Wright feels Manchester City are better equipped to beat European champs Barcelona than Manchester United.
Wright wrote in The Sun: "As Europe's elite clubs prepare to do battle once more, I reckon Manchester finally has a squad of players capable of toppling the mighty Barcelona.
"Sadly for Alex Ferguson and every United fan, they play in blue, not red.
"Yes, I fancy Manchester City to go far on their first Champions League adventure.
"Unfortunately for them, I believe United will probably end up going a little bit further.
"But there is no doubt Roberto Mancini's men have what it takes to make a massive impact among the cream of the continent.
"City may not have played in this tournament before, but they have a manager and plenty of players who have."
