Arsenal legend Wright: Celtic's Lennon good fit for Everton

Arsenal legend Ian Wright says Celtic boss Neil Lennon would be a great choice to succeed David Moyes at Everton.

Wright feels Lennon has the qualities to succeed at Goodison Park.

He told Absolute Radio: "Well, why not you know? He has done a tremendous job in Scotland with Celtic and I feel that he needs a challenge. I feel that with Rangers not being in that league and he done brilliantly in the Champions League, he himself is not somebody who is blessed with major funds but he is at a club that is very expectant. So you look at what he does and his credentials, everything that he has done, yes he could be the right man to go in there and maybe be the manager at Everton.

"I have heard he is the favourite and you know for Lenny as well, good luck to him as well because he has gone up to Celtic and he has had a terrible time in respect of the way he has been treated by fans and media and everything up there. You know, maybe he has ambitions of managing in the Premiership and going higher and you know Everton would be a great job for him but like I say it won't be an easy job but if you are going to look at his credentials and what he has done at Celtic you have to say that he might be the perfect man for that job."
