Arsenal legend Ian Wright is convinced Manchester United will move for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres in the summer.
Wright believes everything will depend on Liverpool qualifying for next season's Champions League.
In his column for The Sun, he wrote: "If Torres returns to Merseyside in the summer as a World Cup winner, something which is possible, then I can't believe he would want to play for a club which is not in the Champions League.
"In fact Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson would probably fancy his chances of taking Torres to Old Trafford.
"Reds skipper Gerrard could be another problem.
"He is proud to play for Liverpool but there will come a time when he takes a step back and thinks 'How can I remain on Merseyside?'"
