Arsenal legend Ian Wright has slated Portsmouth's boo-boys for barracking Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe at Wembley.
Wright is close to Defoe and works with the England striker in a mentoring role.
In his column for The Sun, Wright wrote: "Over the last few years, the supporters have generated a wonderful atmosphere at Fratton Park despite being badly let down by the people upstairs.
"But, equally, some of those fans showed on Sunday they completely lack class - I am trying to work out why the Portsmouth fans singled out Jermain Defoe for such terrible abuse before and during their 2-0 win at Wembley.
"Peter Crouch, another former Pompey player, did not get anything like that amount of criticism. Neither did another former star Niko Kranjcar or their ex-boss Harry Redknapp."
